'Glen Etive'
I nearly didn't make this image. I had scouted out this view the day before, and was certain it had potential to produce a stunning image of the glen.
When I arrived again the following day, the sunlight died on me as I set up. Convinced it needed late afternoon sunlight on the rock, I waited for ages and then decided to make a record image to remind me to come back when the light was right. It was fortunate that I did; it was only when I looked at the transparency later that I realised what I had made.
Technical Details - Linhof Technikardan, 90mm lens, 2 stop grad and polariser. Velvia 50. Scanned with an Epson V700.
