'Rannoch Moor'
This classic view of Rannoch Moor was made famous by David Ward, but it is seen in very different conditions in this image.
I made the image the morning after nearly 24 hours of persistent snow, with the cold front just about to clear through. As a result, there is a slightly surreal blue colour to the sky. This, the much flatter lighting and a different lens creates a very different atmosphere to David's interpretation.
Technical Details: Linhof Technikardan, 125mm lens, Provia 100, 2 ND graduated filters.
Available as a greetings card.
