'Trunks Entwined'

I made this image on a trip to Fen bog during the winter of 09/10. The snow was so deep there was very few places on the moor to stop and Dave Tolcher and I had to wade through snow nearly waste deep to reach the stream.

I particularly liked the way the two stems entwined.

Linhof Technikardan, 240mm lens, Velvia 50, no filtration. Rear tilt used to control image shape.
