'Millstone Graveyard'

On the second day of trip to the Peak District with Julian Ashley we visited a 'millstone graveyard' underneath a disused quarry.

The area was very interesting but I found it quite difficult photographically and I eventually came up with this idea symbolising the gradual surrender of the stones to the natural processes.

Technical details: Linhof technikardan, 240mm lens, Velvia 50, no filtration.
