'Monstrous Bark'

I made this image at Kilnwick Percy in the wolds on a trip with my father. I was particularly captivated by the bizarre shapes and twists in the bark of this tree but I was not quite prepared for the slight scary result when I got the trannie back.

I deliberately kept the tones low key when I processed it to emphasise the slightly spooky atmosphere.

Technical Details: Linhof Technikardan, 240mm lens, Velvia 50. No filtration.
