I made this image on a return trip to the quarry in Borrowdale. Pouring with rain, the colours had saturated beautifully and I found this image looking down from the very top with my long lens.
It was one of those days when an assistant was essential and my father was presssed into holding an umbrella over the camera whilst I setup and made the image.
