My Blog
2010 Calendar
18 October, 2009

My 2010 calendar is now available for purchase here, priced at £14.95.
It contains images from my gallery, the majority shot in the last 15 months or so in either Scotland (the winter) or Yorkshire.
The front cover is an image I shot recently at Boggle Hole, of Ravenscar at Dawn.
January's image is some stunning snow covered curls of grass I found on Rannoch Moor this year.
February is an image I made in Glen Etive a few years back.
March is an image made with 450 lens over the river Etive - my favourite image of the year I think. Inner landscape images like this one that have an inherent dynamic balance really interest me.
April is an image I am particularly pleased with, made at Bamburgh this year. It is the tonal depth I find particularly pleasing about this image.
May is an image I shot a couple of years ago at Ashridge Forest, looking for something a bit different from the standard bluebell image.
June's picture is an evocative image of Whitby I made - one of my favourite parts of Yorkshire.
July is an image I made on an outing with Tim Parkin and Dave Tolcher to Saltwick Bay; together with the Bamburgh image, one of the two most satisfactory vista's of the year for me.
August is a shot I made when the heather was in full colour at the Hole of Horcum on the North Yorkshire Moors.
September is an image I made at Wain Wath Force last year, developing a theme of reflected light I had been working on.
October is a shot I made last year in the Yorkshire Dales, showing a classic Swaledale mined landscape.
November is an image I made on the North Yorkshire Moors, close to Malyan Spout.
Finally December is a simple image made from the Kings House Hotel in Scotland - but nevertheless one of my favourite views.
The price is £14.95. Click on the link above to find it. If you are in the UK you may need to change currency to UKP.
