I found these mosses in Borrowdale on a light and land workshop. Having scouted the general area I had noticed a fantastic wall on a slight rise and some superb mossy boulders.
I have always had a soft spot for mossy stones (there are loads of superb ones near the edge of Buttermere) but I have never managed to find a decent composition incorporating them. The main challenge was getting high enough to ensure enough of the mosses remain visible in the composition.
