I found these grasses one very frosty morning in the Yorkshire Wolds when out on a trip with Paul Moon.
I was particularly attracted to examine this area by the wonderful grasses (a real feature of this area) and I thought they could contrast well with the frosted leaves.
I have been interested for a while in finding ways of making complex, chaotic scenes work and I am particularly pleased with the balance and level of resolution in this image. I particularly love the shoots of green - indications that the spring is close at hand.
