Two areas of the Yorkshire Wolds have yielded a string of strong images - Millington Pastures and Bishop Wilton Wolds. The hawthorn trees are one of the most attractive features of the area at particular times of the year and I have explored their potential in many valleys with my friend Paul Moon.
This was a particularly enjoyable dawn. The image made pre dawn, the bluey frost combined with the strong reds of the hawthorn and early autumn tree colours made for a memorable early start.
