I found these trees and grasses on a trip to Glen Nevis with Joe Cornish, Phil Malpas and David Ward.
I had photographed similar trees and grasses in the Lake District a few months before but had not been happy with the composition, in particular how the trees resolved themselves.
I spotted these grasses from the bottom of the Glen and climbed up the side to investigate. I initially considered a vista image using the grasses but the light wasn't quite right and I finally settled on this image.
I love the way the two trees connect and resolve themselves.
Technical Details: Linhoff Technikardan, 240mm lens, Velvia 50. No filtration.
